Ahtna, Incorporated (AI)
Ahtna, Inc. is one of 12 Alaska Native Regional Corporations established by Congress under terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act in 1971.

Ahtna, Inc. owns in fee title approximately 1,528,000 acres conveyed in December 1998 from an entitlement of 1,770,000 acres.

Seven of the eight villages within the Ahtna Region are merged with Ahtna, Inc., and all eight are Federally Recognized Tribes. A thirteen-member board directs corporate operations. Ahtna Inc. has approximately 1200 shareholders, of which the majority reside in the Copper River Region.

Headquartered in Glennallen, Ahtna, Inc., is committed to providing a broad range of opportunities for its shareholders and preserving their Native culture.

Ahtna, Inc. has ten operating subsidiaries. Subsidiaries are involved in government contracting, civil and vertical construction, pipeline maintenance, environmental remediation, surveying, facilities maintenance, administrative and janitorial services, food service contractors, tourism, forestry and gravel sales.

The corporation’s efforts are for growth and diversification as well as management of its land, mineral, and human resources.

Ahtna Contractors, LLC (AC, LLC)
Ahtna Contractors, LLC (AC, LLC) was established in 2005 to be a civil and vertical construction subsidiary of Ahtna, Inc. AC, LLC is a viable competitive contractor within the Ahtna region and all of Alaska. AC, LLC has developed a shareholder work force and has successfully completed many projects.

Ahtna Enterprises Corporation (AEC)
Ahtna Enterprises Corporation (AEC). This wholly-owned 8(a) subsidiary specializes in governmental contracting and demolition. The type of work they have performed includes National Park Service Road Building and Visitor Center Construction.

Ahtna Development Corporation (ADC)
Ahtna Development Corporation (ADC), is a wholly-owned subsidiary. ADC received its 8(a)certification in 1994. ADC’s core businesses have been operations and maintenance (O&M), specializing in facilities management; information technology, records management, and simulation and training. In 2007, the corporation was realigned to focus on regional development with an emphasis on developing a tourism program and business opportunities within the Ahtna Region.

Ahtna Engineering Services, LLC (AES)
Established in 2003, Ahtna Engineering Services, LLC (AES) commenced business activities in 2006. Ahtna holds an 8(a) certification with the Alaska District of the Small Business Administration (SBA). This status qualifies AES as a small disadvantaged business entity (SDBE) and allows for unlimited value, sole source contracting. AES also holds an Alaska DOT&PF DBE certification. A forward pricing structure is used to provide services in construction, environmental, and professional support services, with a government approved accounting system.

Ahtna Facility Services, Incorporated (AFSI) engages primarily in providing operating staff to perform a combination of support services within a client's facilities. This typically includes a variety of services such as operations, management, maintenance, and service. More specifically, AFSI's scope of work includes: janitorial service, food service, grounds keeping, administrative and data processing and related services to support operations within clients' facilities. Ahtna Technical Services, Incorporated (ATSI) was formed in October of 1999. ATSI received its 8(a) certification in 2001. With a work backlog of 5 million per year till 2007, ATSI has achieved a national contract presence in Facility Operations & Maintenance and Shared Services. ATSI is currently marketing its services as a Preferred Technical Service Provider.

Ahtna Government Services Corporation (AGSC) was founded in January 1999, and successfully graduated from the SBA 8(a) program in December 2008. AGSC is a full-service contractor and maintains status as a Small Disadvantaged Business. Company pricing has been audited by DCAA and they maintain cost reimbursable certification along with a government approved accounting system. AGSC provides services throughout the United States and in over 30 foreign countries. Their primary business sectors include: project and construction management; and engineering, construction, and environmental services.

Ahtna Support and Training Services, LLC (AhtnaSTS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ahtna. Inc. that was formed in May of 2005. AhtnaSTS received its 8(a) certification in March of 2007. AhtnaSTS’s core businesses are simulations operations and maintenance; management of training aids, devices and associated facilities; training range operations, instrumentation and maintenance; training data collection and processing and facilities operations and maintenance.

Ahtna Construction and Primary Products Company (AC&PPC), located in Glennallen, Alaska, was organized in 1974 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ahtna, Incorporated. AC&PPC received its 8(a) certification in March 2000 and Hubzone status in October 2001. The company is certified in Oil spill response, along with performing major projects for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company for the past 20+ years.
